Chem2Change: Environmental Chemistry Towards Global Change
Early Career Researcher Event
2nd virtual ACE seminar on Chemistry and the Environment
15th -16th March 2022
It is our pleasure to invite you to our 2nd virtual ACE seminar on Chemistry and the Environment titled “Environmental Chemistry Towards Global Change” or “Chem2Change” for short, which will complement the long tradition of international EMEC conferences. It will take place on the 15th and 16th of March 2022 in the afternoon on the Zoom platform.
This year’s early-career researcher event is going to be full of interesting topics from areas such as Global challenges (Corona virus, climate, & nature restoration), Instrumental analysis & method development in environmental chemistry, and Sustainability & the environment (Circular economy, treatment technologies, agriculture industry). The content of the programme will mainly consist of oral presentations by early-career researchers but also by invited speakers, as well as a workshop on mapping our research interests to form potential future collaborations. Furthermore, the seminar will include break-out theme discussions, such as ACE and you, Women in STEMM, and How to live greener every day and will end with a social event. All information can be found on our event website here
Registration of participants opens on the 22nd November 2021 and closes on the 8th March 2022. Abstracts will be accepted until 15th February 2022 and will be published in the Book of Abstracts. There is no registration fee for presenters, and a 20 € fee for non-presenters. Please register here.
We look forward to seeing you in March 2022 on Zoom.
