Interactions between physico-chemical and microbiological processes in the environment

22, 23 et 24 october 2008 – Campus scientifique des Cézeaux Aubière 63177 – France

This interdisciplinary scientific meeting is supported by the research centre in Environmental Sciences from Clermont-Ferrand (France). The main objective of this conference is to gather French and Foreign researchers: physicists, chemists, geochemists and microbiologists interested by interdisciplinary approaches in environmental field. More precisely the conference will be organized around three sessions: Microbiology and physicochemistry of the atmosphere Chemistry-microbiology interactions in aquatic and terrestrial environment Decontamination, bioremediation and sustainable chemistry.

The third proposed session has a link with the environmental management. So, in addition to academic researchers, the conference will be open to the managers of environmental resources. Furthermore, each session will be introduced by two invited speakers.
